Example 15 min Discovery Call Script (PDF at the bottom)
The purpose of this call is to establish what issues you are keen to work on. If I think at the end of the call that I can support you through these, I’ll share that with you and we can discuss how it would work.
If I think I’m not the best person to help you, I’ll tell you and if I know someone who could help, I’ll point you that way.
How does that sound?I also just want you to know clear expectations regarding the length of the call and what we will cover. We’ll spend about 10-15 min on this call. We’ll discuss your current challenges, the impact and explore how therapy may look like. I understand you may not feel you’ve shared enough in that time for me to fully understand, but don’t worry too much. Those things come later in therapy when we can work on them therapeutically.
Does that sound ok?What motivated you to reach out for therapy?
